About Con Dio
2021 licensed in Zweibrücken (Rhineland-Palatinate-Saar) approved for Westfalen
This wonderfully put-upon model athlete lived up to his performance-saturated pedigree at his licensing - and was awarded a premium as the best stallion. Spectacular, and yet also with the necessary routine and overview completed free jumping. Impression, manner, courage and caution in the absolute optimum. We have high hopes for our outstanding newcomer Con Dio, both in terms of breeding and sport. 2022 was Con Dio succesfull in his stallion test in Warendorf with the note 8,17.
The sire Cornet Obolensky, who is stationed with us, is one of the most successful jumping sires in the world - and is once again currently among the top ten in the ranking of the WBFSH World Breeding Association. He owes this to his numerous, internationally successful offspring, including the individual European Champion and Team Vice World Champion Clooney/Martin Fuchs/SUI and the World Cup winner and two-time European Championships team silver medalist Cornet D'amour/Daniel Deußer. Almost 200 of his sons were licensed, such as the Aachen runner-up Balou du Reventon/Brian Moggre/USA, the European Team Vice Champion Comme il faut/Marcus Ehning, the 's-Hertogenbosch and Paris winner Cornado NRW/Marcus Ehning as well as the reigning show jumping World Champion Coros/Philipp Weishaupt and the Bundeschampion Crack/Richard Vogel. As an eight-year-old under Marco Kutscher, Cornet Obolensky already won Grand Prix and Nations' Cups, including the Super League Final. In 2008, after winning bronze at the German Championship as well as the Grand Prix of Balve and Cervia/ITA and the Nations Cup of Rotterdam/NED, he was called up to the German Olympic Team. In 2011, Cornet Obolensky was part of the German European Championships gold medal team in Madrid/ESP.
The dam, Baloubet's Heroika HaS, won a series of tests for young show jumpers under Jesse Luther.
The pedigree is followed by the Olympic and three-time World Cup winner Baloubet du Rouet/Rodrigo Pessoa/BRA, the Global Champions Tour winner Casall/Rolf-Göran Bengtsson/SWE, the Olympic sixth place finisher Chin Chin/Jaime Azcarraga/MEX and the thoroughbred performance guarantor Heraldik xx.
The fourth dam, Nena IV, produced the international show jumpers Coby (by Canturo) and Ceduna (by Quintero). Her daughter Bjork MVDL (by Corrado I) produced Quick Nick (by Quick Star), who is licensed and successful in the international youngster tour.
